A Brand with True Heritage
The House of Peers is the upper house of the Parliament of the United Kingdom
Like the House of Commons, it sits in the Palace of Westminster
It is the seat of the ancient lords of the United Kingdom
Over 100 years ago the House of Lords requested a special recipe Scotch to be blended exclusively for the lords whilst attending “The House of Peers”
In 1940 Frederick Laing acquired the rights to brand but remained true to its recipe adding his own magic to improve the blend further
Now 77 years later the brand is resurgent, now having seven expressions in the range
Ward Connelly and Hunter Laing continue to carry the brand to present and future generations of scotch connoisseurs
The Resurgence of House of Peers
Since its conception the brand has been represented all over the world and in all the populated continents.
Ward Connelly & Sons approached Hunter Laing about rejuvenating the brand 7 years ago when they saw an opportunity for quality, genuine, bottled in Scotland Blended Scotch.
We have steadily brought the brand back to life, adding six of the new aged expressions to the range from the original 3 year old blend.
